All Consuming Fire

I love this song. I think I only just learned it in the last month, at Calvary Chapel Santa Barbara, but it’s already one of my favorites for so many reasons. With its beautiful but repetitive words, it’s perfect for worship, when my heart cries out in love to my Savior. It’s doctrinally correct; I want to only fill my heart and mind with words that don’t fall flat next to the Word of God. And I love it musically… I can hardly keep from singing that harmony when I hear it.

Listen, repeat, and enjoy. I certainly pray this is my heart’s desire, more every day.

The picture has nothing to do with anything. I just think it’s a shame to go too long without posting some beauty… and as lovely as the words of the All Consuming Fire video are, the video is lacking in aesthetics. So here is something else I treasure…. a beautiful, homy, vintage-rustic lifestyle. I think they’re rather compatible myself… simplicity and worship.
