I  lead a charmed life, dear readers. It’s 74 degrees outside, and I am in my kitchen in shorts and t-shirt cooking and dancing and singing to my favorite music. After that I  plan to run on the beach and then spend as much time as I could want reading 1 Peter before I go see a movie with two awesome girls…if these are the blessings God pours on His children for us to enjoy here, I can’t even comprehend how incredible our perfect inheritance in Christ is.

God is a God of beauty. All these things I enjoy so much reflect that clearly to me; they reflect Him to me. I’m reminded often that beauty is a dangerous god, but how wonderful it is when good music, a peaceful home, a sunny porch, an orange tree, or the ocean can remind me Who made them, and cause me to marvel that He is so beautiful that these are only glimpses into who He is.

It’s been over a month since my last post, and I think house pictures are in order. They’ll show you what I mean.

Our happy kitchen window, with chimes Mary Beth had up in the suites.

Our cheery living room

Out to the front porch and citrus trees!

Porch and citrus trees!

The obligatory Audrey homage

I love the white couch, especially with my antique-store coffee table in front of it!

Oh I love it so much!!!! So beautiful, feminine, and cheerful! I love the coffee table, and the lovely white couch and french provincial-ish chair! And, I am happy to see that the wind-chimes found a new home :-).

Oh such beauty! I know… I was just there a week ago, but I love to see it none the less. 🙂 YOU are one of God’s “beautiful-est” creations and a reminder to me of how much He loves us. 🙂 What a lovely post. Thank you sugar!

He sure loves to romance us with His beauty on earth. 🙂
Your place looks so great! And only a month ago it was pillows on the floor among boxes and lamps without shades. You two made it so cute! Can’t wait to see it in person!
